Montessori Primary Program

We are pleased to offer the Montessori Primary Program for children from 2.5 to 6 years of age. The modules will be taught using the Montessori approach, which includes one-to-one, one-to-few and one-to-all presentations. The children will work with the Montessori materials in the environment.

Terms & Holidays

The Montessori Primary and Enrichment Programs will run during term time. Each term spans 10 weeks. There are 4 terms in an Academic Year. The Montessori Primary and Enrichment Programs will run for a duration of 40 weeks from Monday to Friday, from 08.30 to 12.30 and from 13.30 to 16.30 respectively. We follow the local school terms and term holidays as given by the Ministry of Education, Singapore.

Assessment

The children will be assessed in the following ways:

  • Daily observation of each child at work
  • With the help of the Montessori materials which have the ability to reveal a child’s understanding when working with the materials
  • Rigorous keeping of records for each child in the different modules

Guides will meet with parents twice a year to give them a detailed Progress Report of their child.
